Prove that. That is the crux of many a discussion on here. I have NEVER seen anything that says that we make fleeting decisions. I will buy you a steak dinner if you can show me where a Delta pilot ever made any deal with either Boeing or Airbus... We have never even had input as to what airplanes the company will buy. If the DC-9 taught us anything, it's that plans can and will change. I suspect that 2014 will be a big year for Delta. We have the finances to do some interesting stuff. The Virgin Atlantic JV will pump a lot of money our way too. I'm expecting the unexpected. As I've said before, it's a mistake to extrapolate one's career based upon a single short-sighted AE award. Things are finally breaking loose seniority wise after years of stagnation. Many new Captains on the last two awards, and at least some advancement for mid-seniority FO's, whether that's getting more senior on your equipment or bidding up to bigger jets. Now, if we only had more bigger jets...

You should overlay the fleet makeup/staffing requirements with this..... It would give a great picture of where we really are and will be in terms of career earnings... I am sure the distribution curve will be very similar, and you will see that our career earnings (potential) roughly mirror the largest fleet. That is currently the 75/767. Soon will be the 737. Do the math....

Not to be all positive and stuff, but look at it this way: The 757 pays 7-9 dollars more than the 737. The 737 is slower, so there's a dollar there :D. Someday- maybe starting slowly in 4 years, we will begin to replace the 7ER with either more 330's or more likely the 787 or A350==probably a combination of two out of three. Those pay 29-31 dollars per hour more than the 7ER does now. I think overall, that will be a good thing- getting rid of an underpaying airframe.

Does anyone know when they put the reserve look back guarantee on your time card. Its still not in there for last month and I want to make sure I don't miss out on it.

If you were a junior ER captain why would you bid off to a lower paying aircraft? Not to mention a crappier aircraft?

Seniority? Just a guess.... and BTW, one did on this AE.... went to the 737. Not sure what your definition of "crappier" is, but just because something pays more, doesn't make it better. I have zero interest in the 330, but I am thinking you think that in comparison the 767 is "crappier"
