Look on your rotation, you should still see your act/max duty day. If on Res SC and assigned your day starts with the beginning of SC. Clear as mud?

I'm just trying to figure out why I need to sign in 3 hours prior. This happened last month mid-rotation and the CA and I were pro-active and delayed our pick-up time (Allied), because no one in Tracking/Accommodations had thought of doing that.

Interesting. Was it an ALPA National or DALPA survey? Did you speak with a pilot or a UNH college kid?

Every indication I've had in the past couple of months is that the DPA train was/is way off the tracks and not being taken very seriously.

What were they asking on the survey?

UNH college kid. Asked a few questions about how happy I am with ALPA and a few on if a vote came how would I vote, and how may people I think would support a change in ALPA if it came to a vote.

ok, got it. If the flight status shows a later push, just show an hour prior. I would call the scheds though. Of course they're dealing with Armagedon now too.

Is anything moving into/out of ATL? Looking at a quick sampling of flights it doesn't appear so. We're sched to fly up this afternoon, but not sure how likely that is.

I just checked and they've already cnx tonight's 777 to Dubai, they cnx'd the inbound from DXB last night, so the airplane never came into ATL, to go out tonight.

I think the holdover time for freezing rain and ice pellets is what, about zero? From what they are saying on the WX Chanel that's what they are getting in ATL.

Meanwhile...it's 83 and blowing 15 in Sebring and I'm going sailing.

THAT's why I commute!

See Ya!

So the 3 hour sit is sort of like 23K without being on 23K.

He does not have to sit. I suspect crew scheds and tracking are swamped. Normally the report would be changed. The rotation is probably in a line of about 700 rotations that need to be updated.

You really know how to rub it in as I get ready for 12 inches of snow. Will be going to the British Virgin Islands on Saturday. (Hopefully)

I'm seeing several trips across open time with 9something layovers. Crew tracking must not have received the FAR 117 memo.

Is it legal for the company to assign those? Do trips have to be planned as legal?
