Dalad,

Those numbers you posted a few pages back, do they include or exclude the retirement contribution? Thx

Denny

For me---
2012-----59k. 16 days off
2013-----31k. 14 days off
2014-----34k if I fly a ton 11 days off
Currently a 7 yr Fo making less and less

You and Mesabah

Somebody at your airline voted for it.

I tried to tell ya ... .

Now, use the Google Now button on your phone and start asking questions like "What is a Upper Decker." No, it will not change your miserable contract for the better, but at least you will laugh at Google's replies.

Kinda did, actually. 9E didn't have to buy XJ and agree to the ASA for those airplanes that they did. 9E management screwed the pooch and then botched the merger, which surprised absolutely nobody familiar with 9E management. I feel bad for the 9E pilots and even moreso the XJ pilots, who had an excellent and supremely safe operation since 1944 and have been screwed over more times in the last 10 years than I care to count. But the fact remains 9E management put 9E in BK. DL took advantage of it in refusing to renegotiate the ASA (contract is a contract, etc), buying 9E out of BK, and convincing 9E pilots to vote themselves a paycut.

And what was the % that voted yes the most recent 9E TA?

I'll refresh your memory: 85%

And why isn't this in one of the numerous 9E threads?

If you're not at DAL, how is that relevant?

And, if you're at 9E, you're not at DAL.

With some persuasion from 9E-ALPA, assistance from ALPA National, and silence from DALPA about the violation of the admin handbook, as you've pointed out in the past. The impending pilot shortage is the only thing that kept the 9E concessions from having a devastating effect on small narrowbody wages, and our union had a hand in it. Doesn't excuse the 9E pilots from their vote, they could have taken a stand like ExpressJet, Eagle & Republic pilots have done in the last few months. But when they point out that ALPA & DAL had a hand in it, they're not completely wrong.

No kidding!

I gotta say, I'm kind of impressed... that sort of chaos and not a single wreck.

And yes, this is going to be a 2 day to process bid... this is the biggest bid we've seen in many years... probably since 08?

I hear they will only be doing AE's with no displacements for a good while to make sure people enter freezes instead of the freebies and added churn that come with displacements. That can make things go a lot more junior that have been going very senior.

They exclude the DC and 401k. My highest earning year under C2K was $235k plus in 2004 as a 73N A. Followed by 185K in 2005 after the do it once paycut, and 145K after the do it once do it twice paycut in 2006. 2007 was a big artificial jump because of the note and claim money.

I, too, am a little skeptical of guys who purport to be somebody on the list yet won't give out generic demographics. We have 11000 guys, certainly an aircraft type isn't going to break the code.

Kinda like tonyp on the AS RNAV thread. Lots of opinion.
