Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
"This is a public service announcement (with guitars)."
If you happen to be a senior FO at LAX, just imagine for a moment, all the extra $$$$ you can put in your backpack if you bid CAPT in DTW or ATL now!
There are 5 direct flights each day, including a red-eye to DTW and 10 flights to ATL, including 2 red-eyes.
All this and more, could be yours, the price IS right.
And while we are at it, senior CAPT's in L.A., just imagine yourself behind the wheel of a large airplane. The 747 and 777 are calling your name.
Just think about it, you'll be thanking me later.

Sailing, Allan, ACL,
With all the reroutes going on, what exactly constitutes a illegal vs legal reroute? Is there something from Alpa that gives us different scenarios and questions to ask to verify if it is legal or not? I have been rerouted my last several trips with no weather around. To me it seems they are rerouting just to get a two flights out on time vs leaving you on your original and just making the one flight delayed waiting on inbound crew.

Welp....once again I get burned on a reroute!! This place is unfrigin believable. I get screwed out of a long overnight in city I bid to hangout with both my sister their families and meet my new (2 weeks old) niece, but am now string elsewhere bc some FO ran into a 60-168 issue. So I get his trip and he gets mine.
Once again our RR and scheduling section need to be addressed ASAP.

Not trying to make light of your buttpounding. Exact same thing has happened to me more than once. Absolutely maddening, for sure. Needs fixed.
Mine was a full Living Trust via a quick claim deed. Included the establishment of the Trust with associated Powers of Attorney, Deeds and living/death wills. Hope that answers your question.

I flew with an LCA last week and asked him specifically about this. He said if it was a new hire or furlough recall guy, that we could expect to have to come ride along for a few legs for " operational integrity" (ie he screws up and they need to replace him on the spot). However unlikely that is, he still said it was how scheduling has been handling it. Maybe T or another LCA can chime in with more clarification??
Unfortunately the Line Check Airman is providing wrong and inaccurate information.
Once the student is released by the Flight Training folks (sim guys/gals), then he/she is the responsibility of Flight Standards folks (O.E guys/gals). The previously assigned F/O to the exact rotation will be released with NO RECOVERY OBLIGATION. He/She can utilize the open board to further enhance their paycheck.

When training cycles are up, there are several F/O's that will purposely bid my scheduling knowing they will be displaced. The down side is if there isn't a student... then they have to fly with me
!!The term "operational integrity" is pretty much a Bull $hit statement. If the person isn't capable of safely flying the line on day one of their O.E. then there is a serious problem with the standard in the simulator. As a former simulator guy; when I released a student to O.E. he was a "product" of me and I took it personal when they weren't ready.
Stay safe,
