Expressjet, Eagle and Republic called management's bluffs. There may be a limited degree of jets awarded to some cut throat "deal me an ace" contracts here or there, but good luck actually staffing the flying.
They are already having issues now and the hiring at far superior carriers has barely started.

There's also a top shelf 80's cover out in Burbank (Video Star) that is absolutely awesome.

Long time reader first time poster here! I will apologize in advance. I have a honest question about the buddy pass stuff(or your opinion.)while we are on this subject. How do you guys think/feel about active employee's S4, retired emp's S4 and DCI S4? I think we should re-classify all S4's like S3,S3B and S3C. Ex. S4,S4B and S4C?? Active employee's DOH should count for something right? I HATE using buddy pass, but my family member got bumped off a flight by DCI(not picking on you guys... ) S4 few months senior to me on int'l flight. I asked the agent but she said S4 is S4(doesn't matter who you are. active or retired or DCI) and it goes by DOH and not the carrier. I was a bit surprised but again I understand.
I'm just curious. Your thoughts?
Thanks again,
H/L

Welcome High Low. In my opinion, which counts for squat, there is no way a DCI guy should get on a Delta plane before any Delta employee or their family member using the same category of pass. The most junior Delta pilot should have priority over the most senior DCI pilot.
I was told this exact number from an EVP last week. He/she also voiced concern with how to train that amount as it's more than our capacity training abilities.
