RA says.........

"90s - as many as 60 airframe fleet"

"90s - the short term 100 seat aircraft fix for DAL"

LOL. I will wait.

I do not see it happening for at least 10-15 years when the current leadership is all retired. Just my guess.

Just a FNW history lesson. The reason that we lost our hats at FNWA was a decision by RA. THe paraphrased quote - "Its a no cost item, why are we discussing this, let them get rid of their hats." Supposedly the subject came up at a "contract cost" meeting.

Hats should not be a contract item, IMHO.

But a raw score credit for short call should be. I'm 1 away from hitting the max allowed in a month. Glad I don't commute to reserve because this would've been an awful month if that was the case.

I agree. I do not feel we should give anything up for the hats, but the SC deal needs to be looked at.

As for flying this month, I have a Raw of 112 I think. 58 hrs to date. There are guys with raws in the single digits as well, but most have been flying a ton.

So, your a hat lover are you? :) Obviously none of us think giving anything up for the hat is wise, but it doesn't cost them a bit to let us choose if we think we look good in the hat. Also, I don't think we need to "give up" anything until we get back to C2K work rules and pay. Anyone who has the slightest idea that stuff needs to be "given up" should be kept as far away from a DALPA position as possible.

Amen.

C2K pay or C2K buying power? There is a difference. C2K rates are still 30% less than your buying power you had in 2001.

I don't really like to throw out there what I would settle for, but I'd take C2K rates plus an annual raise that equals the rate of inflation including energy costs. I'd even vote for an 8 year amendable date on that deal. If we settle for the typical 1-4% annual raise, then I'd go for C2K buying power. That and no hats. :)

If you are within two hours of the max allowed you are done and have no obligation.
