iCrew>>Bids>>Advance Entitlements>>Display Pilot Vacancy Awards or Temporary Information

If you have an award it will show up there prior to the full report being released. Right now it's saying VACANCY AWARDS INFORMATION NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME so the bids are not done yet.

As an aside, it's amazing how many items we still have in iCrew that disappeared decades ago like Temporary Awards and Spillback To Previous Bid Period.

"Decades ago" That pretty much sums up our current IT backbone.

I guess I'm jaded after watching AMC's new show "Halt and Catch Fire", and recognizing much of our current computing hardware and software. The show is a period drama set in 1983.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Wouldn't it be nice though if the A's finally trickled down to '07 & later hires?

Isn't it more of the human side (crew resources and ALPA) having to comb over the results massaging them into something they want versus the slowness of a 486 hertz processor?

That is exactly what happens. They also do multiple computer runs with different backfill requirements. Then they massage it by hand. Changes require more changes. If they decide to bypass a pilot as a example then then have to award his slot which creates another vacancy ect... The bids are always fairly prompt. Generally not more then two working days. I suspect it will be out this afternoon or tomorrow by noon.
