Well that is what I was trying to understand. If you are suggesting that WE fund any ind of early retirement plan, then you and I have nothing to discuss. If you are suggesting that the company might offer something and that some might take it( which I highly doubt will amount to any significant number) then we might be on the same page. As far as every man having a price, I agree, but I don't think the company will get anywhere near what it will take to get rid of any of the top players. They got it waaaaay too good to leave.

Thanks, but what about the month prior to starting training. IE start on the 10th with training for the rest of the month, how would I bid for that? Nothing is on my September PBS schedule, but I got a heads up in icrew for training.
looks like 20 days of training in September, ALV is 80 in Sept for my current category. Thanks Edit: so is it 1. Bid like normal for the month that you start training and whatever you bid gets dumped thats conflicts or 2. Get credit for training and have to bid something on remaining days off to get near the window? All that said, your training should be preposted if you're really going to IQ next month. |

I think the PERP would be a good idea, if in fact the aircraft are not coming back from the lessor, however not sure saving the company a boatload of coin ever translates in a win for the pilots long term. After 30+ years...I tend to be a little jaded! JMHO

Does anyone know if the hotel we stay at in Barcelona gives us a good vacation rate? It doesn't say on mycrewguide. Thanks!
