What does a rotation in open time that starts with a letter mean (i.e. B352)? I saw one I really wanted but it was denied due to "bid for rotation that doesn't exist" (paraphrasing). I think I got my wife's hopes up over something I don't I understand.

That makes sense. Why would a white slip be denied because a pairing doesn't exist? Is it possible the trip was pulled for training but showed up in open time for a short period?

Give us a hint and we can look, date, base and category.

717 LGA shuttle flying has been on the 717 future city list for 6 months. The plan was for DTW to fly the majority of the trips just like the DTW 320 base did previously. This announcement doesn't seem to preclude a West Coast at all. I don't think anyone knows until marketing decides. My money would be on NYC though.

8/26, DTW, 7ER, LHR three day, B529. How do you look up individual pairings in iCrew?

Clarification: the message is "REQUESTED ADD ROTATION NOT IN OPEN TIME".

I think you can look up by doing a pilot name search and using the first flight of the trip so see what the rotation states
White slips are for line holders only.
