You guys seem to be for real this year. Let's see how long you can keep it together.

I find it very telling that the mudslingers are trying to associate DN with the RJDC.

I'm starting to lose some respect for the "establishment."

How long are recall rights good for? I can't find it in the joint contract. I know pay protection is for 36 months with the merger but what about recall rights? Thanks.

The establishment seems to be in a bit of a panic.
Something really got their attention these last few days.
I'm guessing its not about this one LEC election. Its about their information monopoly.
The idea that ordinary line pilots dared to use their e-mail list really shocked them.
That's an existential threat to their power.
Look for a "policy clarification" at the National level re: ALPA e-mail.

Recall rights are 6 months. Pay protection is on for 24 more months. It was 36 months from DCC.

This is getting aweful.

Today I reported to EWR for a rotation.

Three business men cackled me while I was behind the gate agent desk getting our paperwork. "Well at least he doesn't have a laptop with him" one said while they laughed. Another yelled to me, "we're going to land in Atlanta today right??"

After one flight with 142 passengers, at least 30 people thanked me for not using a laptop and/or overflying the destination. Some people were serious, some were making jokes.

I wonder when this is going to stop.

Should have asked the businessmen if they were going to run their company into the ground resulting with a huge goverment stimulus bailout?
