If management wants the E-195 at compass, fine. All they have to do is give the compass guys numbers 124XX and below, desolve the certificate, no more 76 seat jets at any other airline, and open them up to bid.

How easy was that?

It's a callout on the Maddog on takeoff. It's also a mode that the autothrotles go into, sometimes they don't like coming out of clamp.

Computer
Lockout

"computer lockout manual power"

The a is added for the callout. The fma shows CLMP.

System wide AE Dec

Source please. At the LCP meeting the word was that SOC was on track for the end of Dec, but there are other things that will not be completed before the first quarter or so. (None of that had anything to do with pilots or flight crew.) There was nothing said about an AE prior to the first of the year. That doesn't make what you said untrue, but I am skeptical. I would sincerely hope that a pre-Christmas AE would NOT happen because it will ruin the holidays for a lot of people... besides, they couldn't start training anyway before the end of the year so what would be the purpose?

Or the AE results won't be posted until January 1st. That way you can start the year out with a bang and spend Christmas wringing your hands and snapping at people for no reason while you commandeer the computer looking on this forum just hoping someone, just someone, would post a "AE IS OUT!"

Yeaah. Fun.

Well, FWIW, the reps have been in the crewrooms soliciting oppinions on what pilots what going into the strategic meetings that I think our coming next week. I think we need to talk up the issues of the 100 seater and that no matter what is offered nothing is exchanged for a relaxation in scope.

Because whatever we are offered can be taken away but I'm sure scope will stay forever gone.

I'm still trying to figure out what could be offered that could have a lot of guys willing to give up 100 seat scope.
