An interesting note on the plane I am flying. It is a DC-9-3x, but it has a TRI, to automatically compute the power settings, like in the NWA/DAL -50 series. It is very nice!

Yeah, the TCI is nice. It's easier just to read the # then trying to read the RAT/EPR guage.

As far as I know, the age cutoff is 27.5 years, unless you are a prior enlisted and then I believe it's 31-32.

Actually live in IL, about 50 miles east of STL. Based in DTW.

Basic eligibility requirements. Applicants must be citizens of the United States. Applicants must be at least 19 years old and of such age that they will not have passed their 27th birthday on commissioning. Maximum age limit may be adjusted upward to their 31st birthday on a month for month basis for active duty and prior military service applicants. There was a meeting in ATL this morning with Steve D. and our union leaders. The purpose is to discuss a large early retirement program for pilots. Does anyone have any intel as to the results of that meeting??
