Leverage. Plunging oil prices should be a boon for us. Instead they costs DAL an additional $347 million charge for the quarter. Brilliant. |

I would love to hear how you transition to LBP without many pilots taking a pay cut.
That said, I would be against it no matter what. I like the option now to choose a bigger airplane and more pay, or a smaller airplane with less pay but a better schedule. I believe that would go away with LGP. |
See ya 747s......

Just adding a perspective to the public policy dilemma. If we make it "illegal" then some will follow the path of undocumented aliens and hide, which makes it much more difficult to find and quarantine suspected cases. |
For those that have the USAtoday app or actually have a paper copy read the Jameis State article in the sports section. The author nails exactly what college football has become.
Easy way to fix it. Each scholarship a school has is for 5 years. If a athlete flunks out, leaves early, goes to prison or violates assorted NCAA rules they don't get to use that scholarship again until the 5 years has passed. If on the other hand a athlete graduates in 3 or 4 years they can continue him on scholarship for 5 years to work on a masters and they get that scholarship back right then to reissue. For every 5% above 50% a school achieves in athlete graduations they get additional scholarships. The other option is just give up on the farce that is college football today and let each school hire a professional team. The schools would save a bunch of money not having to create a bunch of fake independent study classes. |
