I thought it was odd ABC would never show the replay for FSUs multiple unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. Felt like they were censoring their own coverage to protect the image of "college football.". For disclosure I hate both FSU and ND. Great game, though.

The FSU db's were pointing fingers at each other after the play, it was a blown coverage and the penalty had nothing to do with the outcome of the play. Was it a penalty ?, yes, should it have been called ????

I'm not talking about "holding." That "pick" or "rub" route is done by every team almost all the time. Technically its illegal but its rarely enforced. Except of course at Doak, on 4th down, with 10 seconds left in the 4th. Thats my point.

The cool thing is, all I have to do to go flying is eat popeye's spicy strip meal, then shortly after follow it up with a trio of taco bell beefy 5 layer burritos. I then look down at my stomach and say "do work."

There's a video on FoxSports.com in which three commentators take that play apart frame by frame. All three agree that this went well beyond a rub route and holding was definitely the right call.
