Thanks for the info. We will all just have to wait and see what's in the bid and what happens in a number of venues, most notably SLI!!!

No kidding. I guess our fate will be known before turkey day.

Verbage used on the code a phone does not suggest displacements. His actual words are "This bid should provide more opportunities sooner"

I liked the part about "we took delivery of ship 3703" last week and are expecting another 737-700 this month, though how the Boeing Strike will affect that is anyone's guess.

Suspect something interesting is coming for the NYC 777 category based on some of Steve's words.

They are planning on JFK-NRT.

I hoped we could do that too, but as of recent it appears that we will get to sit in 43D all the way to SEA to start our trips. Yuck. I was hoping for lots of new choices.
Maybe they will have a change of heart. Lets hope so.

Can you say deviate?! Bring on the SEA flying baby! Would sure beat my PDX-JFK commute.

I've hear talk that the 7er might be taking over the PDX-AMS flying from NW as soon as this winter. A six day trip out of JFK with a PDX layover in the middle would be fine with me.

Dash,

I'm with ya, bring on that er flyin out of SEA!!!:)

Who knows what will happen after the merger, but right now SEA is extremely senior for NWA. Probably the most senior positions at the company with the exception of the DTW 744.

If they close down ANC then it will be even worse. Add some ERs and that should make SEA a little easier to bid. On a side note, its nice to see some Delta guys excited for an NWA base. Four months ago I was under the impression none of our Northern bases were of any interest to our Southern bretheren.

I'll take SEA...I could handle that for sure. Talk it up. More then once know I have heard the same rumor...it must be ture :)...
