Just laughing at the idea of the first joint NWA / APA Section 6. Whatever that airline might have been, it would be shut down.

Arpey's wife is glad it did not happen and he's not pulling what remains of his hair out.

Hey at least NWA brought some good things to the merger... Like hubs at the top 2 most dangerous cities in America...

How did EWR not make that list? And imagine this merger DAL-N, NWA-CAL: DTW, MEM, IAH, EWR, CLE. I think everyone would rather merge with United to get their bases. I still think they've got the best.

Still baffled a bit by some on this list (1-15): DTW, MEM, MIA, LAS, Stockton CA, MCO, LIT, CHS, BNA, BWI, MSY, BTR, PBI, CLT, PHL.

Something tells me that I'd rather walk the mean streets of MCO, LIT, CHS, BNA , CLT and PBI long before I do the same in BWI, MSY, PHL and of course those cities that oddly were not put in like STL, MKE, MDW, ATL, EWR, DC and Truth or Consequences NM.

Man,

I miss the 57. Ferd, you don't know what you are missing in EWR and SYR and please don't let me forget.......Buffalo! :D

My last Saipan layover I spent my afternoon hanging at the beach, drinking beer, and watching the girls at the pool. They have popcorn in the lobby in Saginaw. :o

Speaking of the MD-90's what is the latest number of we are talking about? What kind of time frame before they come on site?

So I thought the DC9 flying was increasing. I heard we were increasing their utilization, & increasing small NB flying while decreasing large NB flying but it appears that the block hours have decreased in DTW from March to May by 300 hours. Can anybody explain the "big picture" to me?

Also, for DAL-N guys, is it possible for a blockholder to end up with zero trips for the bid period? If that happens, do you have to sit reserve?

That's exactly where I ended up for May. The choices are to sit reserve (all days off inviolate) or sit a calculated number of Required Available Days (P1/P3) either in base for the reserve guarantee or at home for the blockholder guarantee.

The Big Picture is DAL-S 4th floor rumors are about as good as DAL-N 3rd floor ones.

So I should disregard the DAL-S 4th floor rumor of no furloughs, & also the DAL-N 3rd floor rumors of furloughs. I guess they just CX each other out. ;) :D

As I have said, rumors are best guess. This is always what they are thinking today. It changes, so when the best guess changes the rumor changes ;)
