Nope, I don't think the company will just roll over in arbitration...... That's DALPA's job!

I have 2 eye doctors in the town I live in. Both of them won't even take Davis Vision anymore. They hate them worse than we do.

Looked in the PWA and could not find a definite answer. I am going to second year pay next month. Does the pay increase apply to trips on and after that day (13th)?

I've wondered the same thing, and also came up empty in the PWA. sailingfun, it sounds like you're saying that the longevity pay takes effect ON the anniversary date? In other words, not the whole bid period containing the anniversary?

Let's say one's DOH is the 13th, as bohicagain posted. If he has a 4-day starting on the 11th, will all the time attributable to the 11th & 12th be paid at Year X, and 13th & 14th at Year X+1? (Similar to a carryout trip?)

I finally decided that Davis vision more of a "pre-payment system" for vision care than a insurance program. I just decide each year if I'm getting more in vision benefits than I'm paying in premiums.

I just rcvd a letter from our Dr's office that they no longer are a united healthcare provider. The letter also stated that the hospital could not negotiate terms with UHC & therefore will not file UHC claims & would be considered out of network. btw, it's the largest hospital in town & has the only trauma center within 1 1/2 hour drive.

Not good. You might want to convey this memo to KBF in the ALPA office in ATL.
