Sorry to switch gears, but was wondering about life during training at Delta. I know hotels are not paid, but what about positive space tickets on breaks and uniforms, are they paid for? Thanks for the heads up

Take a look at this link, put in SEA and Delta Air Lines, you'll see over 100 flights out of SEA with Delta code being flown by Alaska and others, right now... Be sure you check all time blocks/pages, they run in 3 hour increments.

Finally, does the TA language really mean the company can be out of compliance every other year? I just can't believe we would sign something like that after what we have witnessed the last 3+ years. Please tell me the lawyers all agree that can't happen.
Bob 3. If the Company is not in compliance with the minimum international operation requirement (under Section 1 R. 1.) or the minimum ASK requirement (under Section 1 R. 2.) in any measurement period, the Company will cure any such breach by complying with the minimum international operation or ASK requirement, as applicable, in the subsequent measurement period. "Cure period" is a legal term synonymous with "grace period". If I were to say "you owe rent at the end of each month but can cure any shortfall by paying rent in the subsequent month" it simply means you have a one month grace period to pay back rent. It doesn't mean you get free rent if you don't pay. In the context of the TA I think the language means that the company has a year to add flights to come into compliance if they are out of compliance. For example if the company owes 100 "units" in 2015 but only schedules 99 they owe 101 in 2016. I could be wrong. If so, the language makes zero sense. |

Very interesting. I wonder if things have changed. It use to be that Alaska was no good if it lost either AA or DAL. Making it undesirable for one of the bigs to take them over. If DAL is out of the question I wonder if they lose that shine? |

I'm just glad Delta will (finally) be flying more of our own passengers, on our own jets. |
