A few B's are available for backdooring.

No joke. I'm not a fan of PBS period, but does anyone know why this process takes SOOOOOO long? Should only take a few hours.

They gotta make sure you get unstacked to fly new years. At least that usually is what happens to me. Takes a few runs I guess. ;)

I read the article. My take is that we may be looking at foreign crew bases. Am I way off on that impression?

I didn't get that impression, just an uneasy feeling that they were getting a little ahead of themselves by hinting so early. There are a number of ways of limiting tax exposure, none of which I claim to understand. Some of them are coming under scrutiny. Google "lux leaks". I assume we'd do something less controversial.

Thanks shiz!! That's what I was looking for. This helped me understand the history on the issue a little better.

His numbers are wrong. They are urban legend. We never had 54% of the EASK and in fact were never over 48% until the Alitalia agreement. Both sides pulled down basically a equal amount with some deviations at different times.
Here are the numbers for the last 10 years.

Aha, I see so this Delta ALPA chart must be incorrect then:

P.S. But sailing will say these charts are somehow "fake", while the chart he posted from the same presentation "legit"

And here is your shortfall:

Oh and pre Alitalia, as Shiznit pointed out, our allocation was above 50%, in fact the contract required it:

LOA 16, 1.P.4 The baseline EASK allocations are 51.7% for DL and 48.3% for AF/KL.

George. IMHO, I disagree that the VAJV TA had to do with the failure to abide by AF/KL/AZ JV numbers or the future grievance... They are independent of each other and have very different structures.

The Company is hosed on AF/KL as a win/loss in the grievance... Determining a remedy will be much more challenging.
