Rumor on the other forum the AF/KLM scope grievance is settled for $60 million. $5000 per pilot.
If true, I think settling for cash is a mistake. We need a permanent improvement to the PWA like 5:15 per vacation day.
We also need them to be in compliance going forward.
And the new scope language needs to have a 12 month limit to any future noncompliance and specific and immediate penalties. I.e. 6 hours per vacation day until back in compliance.
The penalty needs to be painful enough to make them want to fight to get back in compliance.
This violation caused many jobs and promotions. Selling scope for money is a VERY SLIPPERY SLOPE.

I always thought you could only borrow 5 a month when going negative. The contract seems to indicate that restriction only exists if you have a GS. Try 5 and see what happens. It will at least solve the 20 hour question.

Whoever guesses will be wrong. This forum is quite popular. We want the best result for the pilots. The best results will be reached on the basis of the best data.

Also, I am not sure if it is still correct, but I believe every Captain is technically qualified in the right seat but can only be re-scheduled into that seat away from base.

Didn't work, still get the insufficient bank time available message. Odd. Try to figure it out Monday I guess. CPSC no luck also.

I just put 'fill up' and it awards me as much as possible to get to the ALV, more than 5 hours if I'm that short, but I don't think I've ever seen more than -20 in my bank, so that's why I think that's the limit.
I go "negative bank" all the time, and I think the max negative you can go is only 20 hours, not 30, which is why you are getting the insufficient bank message. If you are -18 now, try two hours and see what happens.

Hey guys- sorry for the interruption. Any chance of a load check for #2742 and #2744 LGA-BOS today 12/27 at 3pm and 5pm? Trying to cockpit jumpseat and wonder if there are empty seats and other jumpseaters. Thanks
Anyone know why one of our 747 would be at DFW?
