Could this be bargaining power?

Bargaining power?

Idk. Yet if both those Dtw categories, in their entirety did as I mentioned, I bet they would both be fat staffed a lot longer than if they didn't.

MetLife Dental

Has anyone received anything in the mail from Met Life regarding our Dental coverage? They took over our dental from Delta Dental first of the year. I never received a new dental insurance card.

I found on Deltanet Employee Self Service a reference to view all of your dental info on metlife.com/mybenefits but when I go there and log in all I see is our company paid life insurance and a section for auto and home. No mention of anything dental.

Delta Strikes Pilot Deal to Keep Jobs From Outsourcing to Virgin - Businessweek

"Dominguez said he has no reason to think Delta would replace its own flying with Virgin."

"The ratio of flying between the carrier and its joint venture partners has been an issue before. Delta is supposed to do 50 percent of the flying in its transatlantic partnership with Air France-KLM Group and Alitalia SpA. It likely will come up short of that goal by a March deadline, in violation of its pilots agreement, Dominguez said."

As Tsquare would say....Lulz.

Can someone explain to me this quote below:

"The pilot deal would let Virgin add eight more wide-bodies to its current 38, according to its website, after which Delta would have to maintain about three times as much international capacity as the U.K. airline", Dominguez said

How do we maintain our current percent of flying at a heavily slot controlled airport (ie no more slots for additional flights...the reason given for buying a 49% stake in Virgin) while green lighting 8 more widebodies to Virgin?

The AE is a little befudddling, but still positive. If I add up non-contingent Captain positions, and high-paying WB FO positions (747/777/765/330), minus the 10 displacements, I get a total of 176 positions that are big drivers of progression. I completely disregarded any contingent positions, since they only represent re-alignment among bases.

Shame they are reducing the size of the SLC 737 base. Did not see that one coming based on the past few AE's.
