Just finished 757 OE an hour ago. They gave me a week off after training and then the domestic three day. Depending on if you are a new hire or not, you will have a certain number of hours domestic. I have one day off and then 4 day TOE followed by three days off with a four day TOE after that...should give you the general idea....I know word came down from RA that he didn't want anyone just sitting around for weeks waiting to finish so be ready just in case. PM me with any questions and I'll tell you a few more tricks that may have worked in my favor....DW

Just take your flight pay plus your flight advance and multiply that by 15-16% then subtract out what you already got. That for me comes out at 11% on the Feb check. That is a good guess until we see the final % they come up with for the payout.

He said "when added to the October check", he was expecting 15-16%.

Nuclear Power Turns To Salt - Forbes

Delta should start looking at investing in a nuclear synfuel plant. By selling electricity to the locals in the process, in 15-20 years DAL's fuel costs would be near zero.

Default Bidding Golden Days during CQ month...

I just watched the youtube video on CQ bidding. I get the hows/whys/whens of bidding certain patterns (famous las words), but...

What's the point with Training Golden Days? Unpaid days, right?

Any suggestions to protect the paycheck ref bidding CQ in the same month I have 11 days vacation, as in avoid it or not?

So...DOG whisperer, what are you going to change your name to, now that you are -off- the DOG?

Oh, and congratulations, welcome to the good life!

That twitch should go away in about a year or so...

Why?

Config by 1000 speed by 500. Some guys get good enough to nail it every single time. Great, more power to them. I personally like a bit more margin. But the point is the ultra proficient high time fast paced CA that's used to flying with high time fast paced proficient FO's and when they get a newbie for the first time in a decade they might "write them up" for being bad pilots. We need to have eachother's backs and help new hires whenever we can.

Obvious safety issues are one thing. But the TOTD that beagged about being as critical as possible on every new hire's report is not something we should emulate IMO.

Completely agree with the TOTD status of the guy being ultra critical of the new hires.

I agree, and perhaps new hires should also have to fill out a critique on how the Captain treated him? How was the Capt.s CRM? Did he rush you? How were his briefings? Was he overbearing? How well did he interact with the F/A's? Did he make timely P/A's to the passengers when you were delayed? Would you like to fly with him again?

I'm guessing that if that tool knew that every new F/O was also filling out a critique, he might get a whole new attitude...

Did they stop doing the Pilot Activity Statement? My DEC 2014 one still hasn't showed up on DLnet.

Maybe I need to be more active?
