I think that's a "Tide Roll"!

Roll her in flower and look for the wet spot...

Gots to love a Big Girl though, keeps you warm in the winter, gives you shade in the summer, and you KNOW she swallows! :D

Bingo. I really want and would like to believe that the current financial state of affairs and forecasts for the airlines will continue for many, many years, but this industry of ours is a cyclical and fickle b!tch. I wouldn't want to be an employee on the receiving end of a fix for that kind of debt when she turns south again. Hopefully they will have had time to get it under control before that ever happens. Actually, I hope it never happens.

Guys like him are hated... except by the team he plays on. Those people will love it and I guarantee 31 teams would take him in a heartbeat and hope his bravado comes with him. I think what he does is multifaceted. Its for advantage on the field, it gives him leadership position with his team and hey, everyone knows his name, no? He now has advertising value and he's just a DB, usually only QBs get that stuff. He stands out. He gets paid.

Now I don't think it's as upsetting to other players as people might think either. Not to long ago I was coming out of MOB and low and behold who walks on the plane but my man, Nick Fairley. He and Cam, and a bag full of money, got Auburn that BCS NC and he of course plays for the Lions. Cam had just been in that rollover accident that day and we were talking about that when I asked if they talk a lot? He said everyday. So I asked him, a few months prior everyone on sports talk had gone bonkers over Cam calling Suh "donkey kong" over and over. How could he taunt Suh? WTH was that? They went ballistic on the radio. I asked Fairley if that was his doing and he said, yeah, Cam called and asked him what he calls Suh, he said donkey kong. So Cam ran with it. I doubt Suh was mad at all.

These guys live in their world. They're not mortal enemies. And football is entertainment before it's football.

You make some excellent points FTB. Another thing to add, nobody believed in Richard Sherman in 2011. He went in the 5th round. Now that he is doing well and the Cinderalla story is over people like to hate on him.

Fellas,
I got awarded the Bus in today's class, but as a flow I've got 3 months to think about it. Any suggestions on a study guide to give me something to look over in the interim? Has anyone used the guide they sell at the Stopover Store?

Thanks in advance

I was happy to see Seattle lose and in the manner they did for a few reasons. I have a particular distaste in my mouth for Seattle and Carroll for obvious reasons. Let's start with the "Fail Mary" debacle a few years ago and conclude with the championship game a few weeks ago. Besides, maybe its a west coast thing, but being surrounded by their fans is just insufferable. Not exactly modest in victory, if you get my drift. There are a lot of SEA transplants in SoCal (and they let you know it). Seeing them eat a little crow feels good this morning.

I wouldn't place a whole lot of praise at Carroll's feet for his accomplishments at USC either. I'm really not a college football fan, and I really don't care for USC, but he's generally vilified in these parts. He boogied out of town on the heels of sanctions that almost killed the program. Their championship and wins were redacted and Reggie Bush gave back the Heisman Trophy. Not exactly a legacy to be proud of.

So, "hate?" No. Just happy when karma makes an appearance. And that picture of Richard Sherman crying? Priceless.:D

Buzz,

When I asked about "hate," I was really just referring to the people you said you knew in SoCal that thought Carol was a douche. Plus, the other guys on here that I've seen say they hated the other coaches. I just wanted to know why. That part wasn't for you.

I was interested in why you were happy to see Seattle lose in the manner in which they did and you answered my question. :D

As a flow guy who came over last year I say don't worry about it.
If anything read the FOM (You have access to it from delta net) and if you really want to be ahead study the LOD. That's about it before training.

You will get about 2 weeks between indoc and aircraft training plenty of time to go over the material. No need to try to study things only to confuse yourself with the EMB. Maybe practice flying with the right hand. :D

Oh welcome aboard and Congrats it is the same "job" But it's so much different for the better

Great advice!

I'd suggest the FOM, learning objectives document and aircraft limitations/memory items. If you walk into day one with that down, newhire will be a breeze!
