I know they have lots of sheep . Also world class fly fishing.

Just got back from there, Milford, Dusky and Doubtful sounds, Arakoa, Duneiden and Tauranga...all on the South Island. Wellington on the North Island. It will start getting fairly cool in May. You won't want to come back.

You should have been down here today, 80 degrees and blowing about 10-15 out of the west, great day sailing on the lake, and I've got plenty of Torpedo's for you.

I'll be >right< down.

Sounds about what it was like here in Michigan today: 8 degrees, blowing about 10-15 out of the west, great day for freezing your *** out on the frozen lake!

Took the family (wife and 3 kids) on a 12 day camper van trip around the south island in 2011. Nary a boring day!
I recommend the camper van route on the south island at least as it is just built for it and the "motels" that are available aren't much better and tie you to the small town areas.
Recommend Queensland (jet boat rides, birth of bungee jumping), glaciers, Te'anu (glow worm caves tour), milford sound day cruise (hike if more adventurous), south beaches you'll even spot penguins basking in the sun.
Truly remarkable place with incredible fly fishing and really embraces the natural tourist as it's main industry.
I've been all over the world with the Navy, and New Zealand is still my favorite place.

Is it possible to designate your in-laws as your 'parents' for pass rider benefits?

Correct. My parents have 2 layers of pass benefits as a result. Can't imagine why they always use the 1971 hire date instead of mine. :)

Are you a SWA employee? If so, then yes.
