Correct. My parents have 2 layers of pass benefits as a result. Can't imagine why they always use the 1971 hire date instead of mine. :)

That's Funny!!! I was the kid of a 1942 PAA hire. All I've ever known is Nonrev. My wife just can't wrap her head around it. Might be time for another wife.

That would bump it to 8 days for 48 hour layovers...FRMS...IMO. That would ruin it.

Check out these guys on Lake St. Claire:

I'll watch for that next time I come in on the SPICA arrival, it goes right over Lake St. Clair. I'll ask my brother-in-law about that, he ice fishes on Lake St. Clair all the time.

It used to be great fun on that lake to ice fish in the spring - sometimes the ice would break up and bit and you'd be stuck on the ice floe. Call the Coast Guard, they send out the helo and give you a ride off the floe. Lots of fun until the Coast Guard started making people leave all their fishing equipment on the ice floe. Suddenly, they stopped getting calls about people stuck on ice floes. Wonder why?

Summer time is a little different on Lake St. Clair... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWpdEv_Wc_4

Scambo, there are worse ways to spend time than 48 hours in SYD.
