I guess the real crux of the matter is would the computers consider it 2 duty periods and require the rest or consider it 1 duty period. If 1 duty period it would then need to decide whether I would get the 5:15 or 10:30. If the opportunity presents itself I'll give it a try and see what happens.
It will not be awarded unless you have the required break in duty time between rotations. You won't even show up on the trip coverage reports Skeds uses to award open time.

Sorry, you can't do it. You have to have a legal break after you finish your first rotation before you can begin a second.

Here is what is pertinent and will be what the grievance is about. The contract required that the company award us 48.5% of the EASK. We are actually going to end up around 47% the shortfall will be 1.5%. There are several varibles on how many flights that might be since its a EASK. Length of the flight and size of the aircraft make big changes. To make you happy I will call the shortfall 1.5%. Do you dispute that number?
We've been through this too many times to rehash and I'm sure nobody wants to see us go through this process again only to see you go silent, then resurface with this same 2 flight per day nonsense. If anyone is interested, they can revisit mine, FTB's, Georgtg's and others posted charts and tables. Minimize the job losses to Delta pilots all you wish sailingfun, it doesn't make it true. It never will.

Supposedly, multiple sources at least, Delta would like not to reduce the 757 fleet to the size previously mentioned. It might require additional aircraft not already here. Maybe they're wanting to staff those as well as just handle the ebb and flow of summer and ER Bs bailing to their first Captain positions. IDK.

One could at least hope that's true.

I'm pretty sure the A4A is one of his Clients now that our contracts are 'mature'.

Oh Wait! He IS a Delta Pilot!

Or... was.

I doubt we'll ever see him fly a Delta jet again.

We're still paying part of his salary Timbo. He's still on our list drawing ALPA flight pay loss.

I doubt we'll see him flying a Delta jet either. My question is when he'll stop getting flight pay loss.

My understanding is that he is on flight pay loss at the moment representing the ATA with congress concerning the Middle East airline issue and the attempt to remove them from open skies. The company is covering the flight pay for him. This is a huge issue and he is the right person to be fronting it in DC.
