No surprise there. I also think Delta knew they would not comply with this part of the contract when they signed it..Knowing the punishment would be minimal..Let's see what we get in return for this violation. DPA email estimated $200,000,000 in lost income for Delta pilots.

The news over the last couple days is fairly ominous.
So bad that I can't bring myself to believe it.
What worries me is I thought the same thing when the C2012 details leaked.

ALPA will be courting disaster if this 9644 rumor is accurate and on top of that they once again rewrite our scope clause and invent yet another useless "global solution" that conveniently allows whatever management wants to do.

9/6/4/4 while keeping PS, adding 1 or 2% to the DC plan and getting AF JV payback would probably pass if voted on today. The PS alone for the next two years could be 20+%. I'm a realist.

If we leave our contract alone, PS alone could be as much as 25%-30% alone without any hourly pay increases. Why rush?
I'm a realist as well.

What was the PS before the merger contract? I seem to remember the joint contract changed it before C2012 changed it again.

I'd bet 9/6/4/4 doesn't even come close to a yes this time around. I'm a realist as well and reality says pilots need restoration since we are making 5 BILLION a year in profit and giving shareholders 1.5 of that. If it wasn't for the givebacks of both the north and south guys, there wouldn't be a Delta right now.
