Quick B6 JS question -- I'm using them as a backup to get home tonight, should I list for their JS now or wait until I miss my primary commute home?

Not sure if they are Delta-esque and don't care if I don't show, or UPS-style where they'll hold a grudge if I don't show. If I make my primary flight I probably won't have time to cancel my listing before I have to turn my phone off since the connection is very tight. The flip side is I don't know if there is a latest time where I can try to list for the B6 JS -- by the time I miss my primary commute I'll be within a couple hours of the B6 departure time.

Thanks!

The listing for JB is just to help the agent get you checked in quicker. As long as you don't actually ckeck in and activate the listing they don't care. It's best to do it in advance since MyIDtravel is a pain in the xxxx when you're in a hurry.

The compromise was bigger raises for the North with equipment banded in pay. All and all a reasonable and smart approach.
As usual, wrong again. DALPA justified it with the "range and payload formula."

The live contract doesn't have them. The pay tables are there though. Just -.5% from the % and you will have the correct pay deficits.

So we would hope DALPA is concerned about all areas of our scope. Let's see...
Skyteam / JV: Check (although neither of those numbers really mean much)
Alaska: Check (although we have AS mgt to thank for that gift - ALPA had nothing to do with it)
50 Seaters: Check

It seems like there's one little section of scope that was left out. Not sure they would be so malevolent as to do it on purpose, unless we are about to see a TA with MORE concessions in this area. Some hints:
- It's a certain aircraft size bigger than 50-seaters and smaller than Alaska
- We traded some doomed-to-fail 50-seaters for them in 2012
- The manufacturers start with C and E

Anyone? DALPA?
So we added more 76 seat aircraft and then hired 1,600 pilots. Do you have a point?

without the additional outsourcing...2,600 or more hired.

Here we go. The DCI carriers do over 50% of Delta's domestic departures and this is a victory.

Not only will these guys be selling more 76 seat jets for DCI, they will tell us more JV is also a win.

Don't forget reducing profit sharing is a win. Disregarding their own survey was a must. They know more than we do. Like Council 16 says, we must surrender early and often.

I could say without the deal we would have hired 0 and then we both are making up numbers we know nothing about. At least I admit what I don't know. We can all create hypotheticals but the reality is Delta pilot jobs increased since 2012 when almost all the APC crowd predicted we would shrink and lose mainline jobs. You were wrong about that. But now you are for sure right with your made up numbers.

Although I think it is somewhat disingenuous to attribute any job gain specifically to C2012 like ALPA implies on the website, I also agree that it is just as disenginious to claim exactly what would have happened sans the contract, or any event for that matter. There are plenty of those statements "the 717s were coming anyway" "we would hired more" "we would have got a better deal if...."

No way to prove any of those statements to be wrong and I guess that is the beauty of living on that side of the argument, you can be a message board hero with all the right answers with no real accountability. It is a lot like fans in the stands who have all the right play calls... "If we would have just passed instead of running the ball......"

Thanks, the MyIDtravel is fairly clunky. Funny that I've been here for over 6 months and I only recently learned about the web site. That would be a useful thing to introduce at INDOC. I will allow for the fact that there was so much info it is possible this was brought up and I just forgot .
