Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
DAL: Welcome to C2015 contract negotiations.
MEC: Yes, we agree.
DAL: What, agree to what?
MEC: Yes.
DAL: Uhh, OK. Prepare to be emasculated.
MEC: Yes.
DAL: We'll give not one additional penny despite our massive profits.
MEC: Umm, our pilots are expecting a few gains.
DAL: As long as they're funded by concessions, then that's OK with us.
MEC: Brilliant. Why didn't we think of that.
DAL: Well, you're not us.
MEC: Right. Let us know when and where to sign.
DAL: We will because this is a time critical deal.
MEC: Yes. Since we have so much time left, May we wash anybody's car?
Slightly lifted from that awesome YouTube video.

Turn sideways, take the padded foam cushion for your back (which is only velcroed in) and lean it against the left armrest. It actually provides pretty good back support. Lean back, place legs on suitcase, Jepp airline kit, etc and relax as best you can.
I spent a long time on the 757. There is a decent JS solution here.

Normally when I'm up there I'm just happy I'm not on jumpseat for the next flight which is normally a -88.

Here are the AA 1/2016 Pay Rates vs Delta. Note the effects of Pay Banding to the 330/767-4 and the 320/88. So unless we get a 16% pay across the board, various rate adjustment by fleet, or Pay Banding, some aircraft will not pay equal to AA (330, 764, 320 & 88). Also note how poor the Group I a/c (B717) is on the AA side. FYI... A321 is a Group II a/c... major fail.

I've had several captains tell me they are sorry they didn't have a seat for me in the back and apologize for sticking me in the JS. I always let them know I appreciate the ride and that no matter how uncomfortable the JS, it's always better than the best seat in the terminal.

Here's the scope update from NYC tonight.
"Scope Compliance and Analysis
Delta currently operates 784 mainline aircraft. SkyTeam consists of 20 member airlines. In 2012, Delta Connection operated 348 50-seat jets; in 2015, Delta Connection operates 179 50-seat jets. There has been a 27 percent reduction in Delta passengers on ALK since the last quarterly report."
So we would hope DALPA is concerned about all areas of our scope. Let's see...
Skyteam / JV: Check (although neither of those numbers really mean much)
Alaska: Check (although we have AS mgt to thank for that gift - ALPA had nothing to do with it)
50 Seaters: Check
It seems like there's one little section of scope that was left out. Not sure they would be so malevolent as to do it on purpose, unless we are about to see a TA with MORE concessions in this area. Some hints:
- It's a certain aircraft size bigger than 50-seaters and smaller than Alaska
- We traded some doomed-to-fail 50-seaters for them in 2012
- The manufacturers start with C and E
Anyone? DALPA?
