From my somewhat "limited" airline career thus far, LGA & EWR interchange rank on my list depending on the day of the week. Took me almost 3hrs to get to the gate after landing in EWR one evening then another 3hrs to taxi back out and get the heck outta dodge. My one and only 16hr day to date.

There are a "million stories in the naked city", the only reason you don't hear more, is most of the guys are just now mastering touch tone phones much less the interweb. To hear them tell it, Boeing really screwed things up when they took the top wing off....

5 hour break between flights.

Depends if the DH home exceeds the contractual max duty day length. No FAR limit on the DH since you're not flying. They'll get you home and avoid the hotel plus trip credit if they possibly can. If you're scheduled to DH home and your LHR-DTW runs late enough to miss the DH, and the next one exceeds the contractual max day, you can have them set you up to layover and DH the next day, then deviate, take the next flight and pick up 5 more hours

Really?

So the TA would have eliminated the global production balance in Section One that measures and protects widebody international ASMs?

I didn't know that.

I didn't know that.

So if we are out of compliance with the AF/KLM deal using EASK's but switching to a block hour limit puts us into compliance, how does the global production balance protect international ASM's?

I don't know so I want you to let me know.
