Cub, he's already 30 negative, so no go. But in addition to white slipping or swapping, it's also possible any delays or re-routes that take you over your rotation credit on all the remaining rotations this month will whittle away a little bit of that pesky last remaining straight-pay hour

That is not uncommon when companies enact immediate reactionary polices based on facts solely gathered from CNN/Fox News reports.
If you can find the pleading's, I'd be interested in looking at them. It seems like these are their claims (pulled directly from PD's post.) If true, I don't see how they have a case. As the soup Nazi would say: Next!

Dallas Safari Club and the other plaintiffs -- including Louisiana-based Conservation Force, the Houston Safari Club, Zimbabwe's CAMPFIRE Association and the Tanzania Hunting Operators Association -- claim the ban will cause a "catastrophic" chain reaction.

"Delta's embargo threatens the tourist safari hunting industry's entire user-pay, sustainable use-based conservation paradigm," says the suit. "It would be catastrophic to people and wildlife to eliminate the most habitat, prey base, operating budget revenue, and community incentives. Wildlife numbers will plummet. But this will occur if Delta continues to discriminate against the cargo of U.S. hunters. Rather than celebrating the conservation contributions of U.S. tourist safari hunters, Delta is vilifying them by refusing to transport the fruits of the hunt: trophies of the prized Big Five (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo). Delta is treating these legally acquired trophies as if they were contraband.

"America's business, professional, and civil leaders -- many of whom are frequent fliers -- should not be lumped with traffickers (unlawful trade). The stigma will understandably affect their willingness to hunt in Africa. Because it dissuades lawful hunters, Delta's embargo jeopardizes the benefits of tourist hunting and its centrality in the conservation programs of African range states. And worse, the embargo deprives Big Five species of essential conservation funding and support."

Yeah, theres a trip worth an hour more next week that should take care of that……

Just wanted to make sure the 2day GS wasn't worth only 10.5 until I went above the GS trigger, happy with 20 for 2 days….for now….

Thanks, Big E. Page 40 of the latest "PBS Gouge," has the answer in detail as well.

I wanted to relay a cautionary tale I have just endured.

I wrote a check to pay a bill that I did not want going through my bill payer system. That check was stolen out of my mailbox Monday night or Tuesday morning. The thieves tried to wash the check and cash it Thursday afternoon. Wings Credit Union called me almost immediately after it happened. The teller was new, but something didn't feel right, so she called her supervisor over, and called me. It had the same check number as the one I put in the mail, a signature that resembled mine, and the check had all of the right fraud features including the embossed texture.

Wings locked my account until I could get into a branch the next morning. they opened a new account, transferred the funds, linked all my ATM cards, and reimbursed the money they paid to the crooks. All before noon the following day.

When I got back into town on monday, I went to my local branch to give them a copy of the police report I filed, they said someone tried to cash another check on Friday. They delayed him long enough to call the police. They had it all on video and the idiot used his real name, gave them his SSN, DOB... everything.

I am thankful for stupid criminals, but I am even more grateful to the sharp people at Wings Financial for not only being smart enough to catch a forged check, but for fantastic customer service. They ordered new checks for me, but I am using bill payer from now on!

Lets stay safe out there!

I never believe news reports on any legal case. I have been involved in several high profile cases and every time when I read the press I always ask myself WHAT COURTROOM WHERE YOU IN and often it becomes a running joke among counsel on both sides.

I pulled the case and there are 3 causes of action

COUNT ONE
VIOLATION OF COMMON CARRIER OBLIGATIONS

COUNT TWO
TORTIOUS INTERFERENCE WITH BUSINESS RELATIONS

COUNT THREE
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH FAA REGULATIONS AND OPERATING FLIGHTS IN
VIOLATION OF THE TERMS OF DELTA’S AIR CARRIER CERTIFICATE

Can't figure out how to attach a pdf

This is the main guy behind the case. You can tell from the pleadings the 350K guy is a minor player.

Hey guys, my wife and I are considering a Viking River Cruise this Spring. We've done the Carribean cruises and didn't really enjoy them. They just seemed like food-fests. Has anyone done a Viking River, and do we get any airline rates on them?

FYI I just read a review the other day...their new ship that cruises the Mediterranean is supposed to be very nice. If you're interested in that.
