Just dealt with this Feb/Mar. Here's a good source. Relevant stuff about the 11 min. mark.

Thanks! I just watched the relevant part and it looks like I can bid a short period of days on call at the end of the month, say 3 days, but still bid the first days of the following bid period off. I think this is how I will approach it. Seems like I will have the most options this way. Thanks again!

Highly inaccurate. It was around 9,000 issued in 2014. 2015 should be similar.

I wonder if that includes certificates issued to Chinese, Korean, German, British, or other foreign nationals doing their flight training in Arizona or Florida.

Thanks. Sounded insanely low but 9000 seems really high. Why then are the regionals having so much trouble finding help?

Rolling 365 day block hours. Suppose to help guys who are close to 117 Limits. Notice the numbers probably decrease through the month.

More of a gee whiz kind of question than anything of import.

I picked up a 3 day GS today. It is a 4 day trip that started yesterday as captain OE, and I'm picking it up at the end of day 2 through day 4 when I presume his OE will be complete. When scheduling put it on my line, they put the entire 4 day on my line. I only expected to be paid 3 days and that is what is on my time card, so any idea why they put the 4 day trip on my line when from my perspective it's really only a 3 day trip?

Getting senior in category has a drawback. You fly with more senior captains. The junior guys are much more fun....
