Also consider an ID90 as a backup. You can purchase the tix via the ID90 website and if you don't use them, you can get a refund. Maybe book for a hail-Mary last flight out on another carrier if all other plans fail. Good luck!

They generally do not board checked baggage if you fail to get on. May the S/A gods be with you. Wait till the very last minute at the gate even if the flight is overbooked. Never leave the gate till push back. Last night I was #9 for 4 seats, got on.(SA3B)

Consider buying this app (subscription based = $19/year) NonRev for iPhone. This has turned out to be the best help when non revving and the need for connections/ID90s, ... fairly reliable with loads too.

Remember, flexibility, a smile, be SUPER nice to the gate folks, stay very close to the gate house and be aware of what is happening the last 30 minutes before push.

So if you are non-revving and they lose your bag, and then want to charge 40 bucks to deliver it to your hotel, do you ***** about it? I sucked it up and didn't say a word because I just flew for free with my kids, but man if I had paid for a ticket id be ****ed....

Taking the kids to DEN for a mini vacation in a few weeks. I said screw it and bought 4 tickets on travelnet's fly for less thing. $218/ea. Done. Sick of nonreving hell.

and damn it the flight better be full when we go. :D
