Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Are passport photos reimbursable?
So can you deduct cash "charitable" contributions that were given on a layover to a young lady to help her get through college and replace her missing top?
I figure it has to be allowed under education, job expenses or charity.

It isn't tax deductible, but I think you can Expense it. Send the receipts to CapnD. If you do this I will admire you! OFG

I called out fatigued before a trip started while on reserve. They pulled the trip off my line and put me back on reserve. Is that the way it's supposed to work, or am I supposed to get some sort of trip guarantee for that rotation? I would think at least 5:15 for the first day. Thanks in advance!

I recommend reading the contract.
I'm also curious about the circumstances that would lead to a reserve calling in fatigued for a trip assignment prior to the trip even beginning...

You already get the reserve guarantee. Do you really think that a reserve should get a full day's worth of a trip applied against the reserve guarantee, when you didn't even show up for the trip? Heck, even if you are called out for a trip, then report and the trip cancels, you only get "suit up pay" of two hours applied against the reserve guarantee. You want 5.15 when you never left your house...due to your own fatigue call?
I recommend reading the contract.
