How is it not realistic? If a line holder fatigues out of the first day of a trip they get 5:15 for that day....per the FRB. What the difference if a RES is assigned a trip and fatigues out?

He is pay protected as a reserve and getting his normal pay for the day.

So sorry I will go and flog my self and wear my hair shirt to bed tonight. I am not worthy to be in your presence.

Klondike,

I can think of plenty of reasons to call in fatigued - I think most reasonable Pilots will agree with you here.

The issue is that as a Reserve you get the guarantee. You called in fatigued and will still get the guarantee - no financial harm was done.

The only thing that I am curious about is them putting you right back on reserve? Seems like they should have removed you from the availability list since you were fatigued.

Oh they did for a day. I got a goodnight sleep the next night and was good to go the next day.

And I agree with the guarantee on reserve. I only asked the question because we got new rules and as a line holder you would get the trip pay. Thank you for not being a dick about it.

Where can I find the total number of vacation days I have for 17-18? I have searched icrew and only found this year. I lost some days for mil leave but I thought I remembered I had 8 remaining. I was awarded one week in pvac and I was just given a supp day on the end. (I assume that is my sick leave supp day, ATL 717). I am wondering if that one remaining day will be added to my pvac later or if it is bid during svac? Also I have one PB day remaining, will that be added automatically to my vacation or do I have to call sched? Thanks in advance for the help.

Bids-->Vacation-->Initial Vacation Bid-->Display Individual Vacation Days to Bid. The one extra day is probably your 8 days that you thought you had. You can always e-mail crew resources with your questions. They respond quickly. I don't believe your Supp days automatically get attached to your vacation. PB days do get converted to vacation, but again I don't think they automatically get added to your PVAC unless you selected that in your bid.

Had the same issue yesterday, but kept trying and eventually it worked.

Anyone looked at 2016 w2 yet? My box 1/3/5 figures are substantially lower than my "gross compensation" on the final paystub from dec 31. The difference between box 3/5 and my final stub is almost exactly my retro pay amount. Curious if this is to be expected?
