I'm saying green slips are better than white slips.

Depends on if your the guy with a 60 hour month with no hope of a GS or the guy over the GS trigger hoping for a 120 hour month.

Does anyone know where in the PWA it references how a partial reserve is calculated for PB days? I've looked and cannot find it...I'm pretty sure they add 9 hours or 9.5 hours to block in, but cannot find the reference. I set up my X days to conflict with TOE and I'm getting one PB day into my bank but should also have a partial that becomes another PB in my bank. I called the OE scheduler and she had no idea what I was talking about. I called Scheduling and he said I should get 2 PB days but couldn't do it because it was a training rotation and the OE planner had to do it. I left a voicemail on her machine but I'd like to have the reference ready if she calls back.

I'll be calling ALPA by the end of the week, if I don't hear anything. Thx in advance

Nobody has a 60 hour month.
Unless they are dropping trips in their own base and relying on out of base trips to build a schedule.
Which is exactly what they are doing.

And as I said before, I don't really have a problem with that.
Until they pick up the out of base trips on days with no reserves that would have gone to an in-base guy on a green slip.

I understand they have every right to do it under the contract.
Its just "unfortunate".

I had a GS on my line. An hour later CS called to inform me they had to take it back because they missed an OOB WS. Unfortunate...

The only way you can get a OOB white slip is if they are out of inbase reserves unless the coverage is short notice. I guess what you are saying is out of base white slips should not be allowed?

That's also the only way to get a greenslip, that's the point. White slips should be banned when reserve coverage is below 25%. Hint...;)

You should get single pay, no credit for that if you are a line holder. If you are on reserve, you get nothing. Why'd you answer your phone?

Again you can only get a OOB white slip if there is no reserve coverage.

Are you saying OOBWS is after in base reserves in the coverage sequence? I didn't think that was the case....And it is the case, I just looked it up. My bad.

So guys are supposed to not exercise their contractual seniority rights so that other guys can exercise their seniority rights?

You are mistaken.

ref 23.Q.12

And I didn't answer my phone, they left a message and took the trip off my line.

This is not correct. Scheduling has 24 hours to correct errors in trip awards.
