Does anyone know where in the PWA it references how a partial reserve is calculated for PB days? I've looked and cannot find it...I'm pretty sure they add 9 hours or 9.5 hours to block in, but cannot find the reference. I set up my X days to conflict with TOE and I'm getting one PB day into my bank but should also have a partial that becomes another PB in my bank. I called the OE scheduler and she had no idea what I was talking about. I called Scheduling and he said I should get 2 PB days but couldn't do it because it was a training rotation and the OE planner had to do it. I left a voicemail on her machine but I'd like to have the reference ready if she calls back.
I'll be calling ALPA by the end of the week, if I don't hear anything. Thx in advance |

Depends on if your the guy with a 60 hour month with no hope of a GS or the guy over the GS trigger hoping for a 120 hour month.
Unless they are dropping trips in their own base and relying on out of base trips to build a schedule. Which is exactly what they are doing. And as I said before, I don't really have a problem with that. Until they pick up the out of base trips on days with no reserves that would have gone to an in-base guy on a green slip. I understand they have every right to do it under the contract. Its just "unfortunate". |

The only way you can get a OOB white slip is if they are out of inbase reserves unless the coverage is short notice. I guess what you are saying is out of base white slips should not be allowed?

Again you can only get a OOB white slip if there is no reserve coverage.

ref 23.Q.12 And I didn't answer my phone, they left a message and took the trip off my line. |
