How often will an internal rec trigger looking at your application? I had an internal rec and heard nothing and since had an application review service help me clean up my app. I would like the hiring team to take a look at my app again but don't want to use another internal until I am eligible again. Thanks.

What kind of things did they suggest you change or "clean up"?
I have reviewed, re-reviewed and had others review my app, but always wonder what type of things they look for that might get your app in the circular file.

Can you claim check pilot, safety, and/or volunteering?

I have listed the things I can.

- Assistant Chief Pilot and base manager for a Fractional Op
(listed the base manager and ACP roles separately so you can see clearly see the changes in roles)
- Assistant Coach for little league baseball
(League Champs last year!!!! Go Yankees)
- Angel Flights Southeast

I have the opportunity to become a check airmen on one of our planes, but I think its kind of bad form to qual up for that in order to benefit myself and then hopefully leave.

Disagree. That's life, for both you and your employer. If they didn't think it would benefit them, they wouldn't do it. Don't think it for a movement, go forward.

Agreed, if it is mutually beneficial even in the short term it's a good thing. Life happens, don't miss opportunity.

 We've all done it. It was required to get noticed not too long ago. The more qualifications you have the better. If your company hires you to do that job, they known the risks and the benefits. It's called career building.

Improve your quals any way you can. Your company would drop you like a bad habit if circumstances dictated. If they want to keep you bad enough they will make it worth your while to stay. If not, take the better offer and don't look back.
