Um .... yes.

Did you try to get hard-copy manuals? I think they might have gone extinct.

I printed the LOD and IOE guide out at ops, on the color printer. Took it to kinkos and had them bound for $5 total.

More GS questions. I have read and think I get it but want to be sure I understand. I wouldn't mind flying a GS the week of Thanksgiving Sunday-Wednesday. I just want to make sure I am not missing anything. Is there anytime a GS can be awarded without me answering the phone or logging into icrew and accepting it? For example I have in my pref to award 1-3 day GS. I don't have the award if in sim or on duty box checked. What I don't want to happen is to get a 2 or 3 day GS assigned to me on wed. I have read some things about some GS or maybe it was WS not being proffered but being assigned. Just want to avoid getting burned.

no. it's never yours until you acknowledge it....if you answer the phone, thats a different story unless one of the big 4 apply.

To be awarded a green slip while on a reserve day (long call and less than 12 hours to report), is that a GS or a GSWC? TIA!

No GSWC's on Reserve. You get paid the block time for that day above guarantee with no PB day. If it is just a 1-day you get the credit. If its more than a one day you don't get the credit unless the trip ends on a day off.

Am I missing something here? Just put Sunday - Wednesday in your GS template. They will not award you a GS outside of your requested dates.

If you want to be selective about accepting a GS within your parameters, just let it go to voicemail and check your message ASAP and decide if you want it.

If its within the days you are requesting a GS - it is not a proffer, but they can't force a GS on you outside of your request - that is a whole different animal that goes by the name of inverse assignment.
