No one is saying screw the retirees. There is nothing wrong with being happy about an easier commute to work. BTW, you wouldn't have a WO contractor flying your passengers around if there was no scope relief. Who voted in scope relief? I will gladly accept a history lesson if I am going the wrong direction with this, but regional pilots can't be blamed for what mainline guys allowed management to do in the first place.

It's unfortunate but it's a sandwich they made for themselves a long time ago. There are ZERO regional pilots anywhere that voted for scope relief. It's unfortunate what's happening but zero blame should be placed on regional pilots.

Of course everything is a choice. Literally, everything. It is how that "decision" is made to sound by people who choose to condemn those who choose to commute, as if those who don't live in domicile should be punished for not doing so. Other than the fact that domiciles can open and close at a whim (just ask anyone from -insert City here-), it's never as easy as pick up and move to today's focus city domicile. This is especially true if you have kids and a close family support network or if your spouse has a successful career. This isn't the military. You don't just uproot your family just because you might save a few nights at home a month for zero extra compensation.

It’s also a choice to nonrev instead of buying a confirmed seat if you’re worried about getting bumped by an endeavor commuter. It works both ways.
Why on earth are there Endeavor pilots on this thread debating about flight benefits? Shut your damn pie holes and go about your business. There is no need or benefit to boast or to kick the bees nest.
Delta pilots and retirees...you won't even notice a difference. Endeavor is such a small group in comparison. Especially spread across the system.

Now they have to live with the consequences of that choice, as do we all.....But thanks to their choices they should have more money to enjoy in their retirement. Perhaps enough to buy a ticket when they go on holiday. Unfortunately the regional pilots that they created cannot afford to buy tickets every time they need to get to work.
