If you're just curious now, you can go on the DeltaNet and select the "Crew Resources and Scheduling" link. Then on the right side, select any of the Forecast Staffing Reports. That's a one page, easy to read, sheet that has what you're looking for.

If you're wondering about where to bid in the upcoming AE, they'll be posting one of these forecasts with that bid which will reflect the future categories, based on the results of that combined bid. That's the one you really want to pay attention to.

Come on, didn't deserve it?Texas came back from behind to beat USC and kept Bush from doing much of anything in that game. You can't say IF NOT for VY Texas wouldn't have won because he was part of the team, IF USC didn't have a college tootball team that season they wouldn't have been playing at all. USC lost the game fair and square, that was a great game to watch and a great season for the Horns!

BTW IF Reggie Bush had choosen water polo as his sport of choice then he likely wouldn't be dating a kardashian either! ;). See it's silly to play the "what if" game. ;)

/end of hungover rant lol

Haha...Yeah I hear ya. Especially about the Kardashian part...man she's smoking!

Thanks for the help. I feel like a new hire again trying to figure all this stuff out after being on Mil Leave for a few years.

One more question. When I enter a percentage,i.e. 30%, is that 30% from the top or bottom.

As for seniority going further the farther north you go I hope it is true. Looking to go back to the 757 in MSP.

Yes it is from the top. If you put in 70% this means you want to be in the top 70% when the conversion for the bid is complete.

I believe 100% is dead last / 1% is the top. If you put in 30%, that means 70% is below you. I think of it like battery life on my iphone.

Now, its not 100% accurate as I believe if I put ATL 88 B then it shows up for the guys junior to me as if someone from another category has it as their choice when in reality I already have it.

But you can put 744 A DTW and see how many people are going for it. FWIW.

Gents,
Be very careful in trying to game the system and looking at what others have as an AE preference. You can look all you want, BUT THE BOTTOM LINE is you have NO IDEA what people are bidding as their MD choice. This bid is the MOAB! People WILL BE displaced and their is absolutely no telling where guys will fall. BOTTOM LINE!!! BID WHAT YOU WANT! WANT WHAT YOU BID!!!

The AE will tell us where these categories and bases will be newly opened, added to, or surplussed from (or closed).

But bid any category/seat/base including restrictions, don't limit yourself to what's posted. Things cascade around. You never know how much backfilling they will do.

You can use a lot of strategy with the restrictions. For example, I might list ATL777A,ATL7ERA50%,ATL76750%,ATL7ERA60%,ATL76765%. ...it might be #15 before I get a hit.

If you were asking which airplanes are in which bases currently, check the monthly PBS bid awards on the Deltanet under crew resources.
