Also, if I put in for a GS and am willing to accept a trip less than 12 hours while on long call, is the trip a proffer or am I bound to take it?
Reason I ask is that most times during the day I could make checkin much less than 12 hours, but for a few hours in the evening, I'd need the full 12 to make it. I thought about limiting the hours they could call me, and the time to report via the preference qualifiers, but this could unnecessarily limit a GS if it came up mid-morning. Anyone have any firsthand experience with this? |
Ok. This is the last question. I promise. Am I supposed to be able to get into the PBS system right now?

If it's your first time logging into PBS make sure you enter your 9 digit PPR # as your password. You can change it after you log on. |

College football is a scam. I like to watch it, but there is NO national champion or championship game. There are 5 undefeated teams this year. Texas, Alabama, Boise State, Texas Christian, and Cincinnati. They all deserve a shot. I don't buy into strength of schedule crap. That is an excuse the sports writers use to defend their broken system. Utah was the only undefeated team last year, but the writers refused to call them national champions. The system is a joke.

Amazing how many people don't get the joke! Reminded me of the old question: Do you know what they call the guy that graduates at the bottom of his medical school class? A: Doctor. |

Its not a give up attitude. NW did not have 1 for 3.5. Therefore they can build 5 day domestic trips without lots of credit or bumping up against FAR Limits. Personally I don't want 5 day trips so hope nothing changes but you wont see them often with 1 for 3.5 in the contract. Do the math on a 5 day reporting at 11 am on day 1 and getting back at 7 pm day 5 and it will come clear to you what the companies issues would be.

I know what trip you are getting next month Tsquare. Check that 12 day trip......
