We don’t have an employee interline agreement with BA. It’s a bummer.

Try Ryan Air out of London Stansted (STN). No Zed but super cheap. Just watch the added fees, bags, carry ion, seats...

Might be some other discount carriers out of there as well as London Luton and London City airports.

Never mind. Had a brain lock. International has the same code regardless of base. Carry on.

I saw on the daily trip coverage for the 717 today that they are retiring an aircraft. I didn't know we were getting rid of the 717's also?

I first heard of that 2 years ago. 717's will be gone shortly after the SWA lease deal is over. This was discussed in CLCP/FC/FAA level and it sounded like it was decided on. They looked at the Hawaiian jets to buy those for parts, but were not happy with a possible deal.
Just a messenger.

When does the lease expire and what is the replacement plan, more 220s?

Long term storage to save time on the engines, vs retired, is what I heard. I think there are 3-5 parked, so far.

The comment on the trip was retirement flight. 9 hours for a 1 day, that would've been a great trip to spend 20 PB days.

We put aircraft into retirement status often in the fall. Good chance it comes back out in the Spring. They try and balance cycles on the airframes.
