Yes absolutely! WB FO sucks now especially for those 4900 and more senior. Just think of the car, extra house AND boat you can buy with the extra NB CA dough!!!

Not really "to spread out the work"... just reduce the size of the stack in advance by assigning those trips first. The program is thoretically capable, BTW, of assigning every single trip and having no stacks. So the matter is really how big of a stack to allow, thus the logic of having more reserves to cover even if they are senior reserves.

In a way, it is intentionally complicated. To allow the ability to create a powerful bid that meets your desires. That's what we wanted and NAVTECH delivered that. The other choice of vendor, CARMEN, offered a simplified bid system with less capability. To protect you from yourself if you didn't understand how to bid.

Reserve Greenslip Payback, partial, and pay question.
Is all of the above based on the original rotation awarded? I was rerouted on a greenslip which made the release time much earlier, and negating a partial day to rollover. Should I receive PB and PR days based on the original rotation or what was flown?

If I fly another Green slip that goes over a Partial day, do I get full GS pay and a full PB day for flying on that PR?
First time rolling thunder, I don't have a clue...

What appeared odd was no trips assigned via coverage awards. Everything was left in open time and reserves were unstacked to roughly 30% in category. I was surprised they opted for reserve coverage awards at 30% without lineholder coverage awards at 99%.

What cateogry? I found one that had similar results as you mentioned and there was no coverage for line holders because lots of people didn't specifically bid those days off with an else start next. If there is no else start next, technically they didn't force people to work those days.

I believe it's whats flown. Reserve pilots don't get rotation guarantee.

Don't know about the second part of your question.

The number one rule of WBFO is never to talk about WBFO.
