You're equating one's "life" with a training conversion date?

I don't know, there are a couple girls at the wing house that have my vote.

The fact that they take this long to give pilots the opportunity to make basic plans proves this point, not me saying it.

I love that people use this line of attack, as if being a working person is somehow bad and politics should be reserved for the elites

We should talk about politics more often on this forum. Especially this thread.

If it knocks out 51 posts in the next day or so, yes :-P

Are timecards correct on the gs trigger? Mine shows 75 but I thought that lowered under the new agreement?

Ok. Would you rather have an accurate conversion date that is done later, or an early one that would not necessarily be accurate? The deadlines and requirements in the PWA evolved to balance our desire for early notifications, with the desire of the company to have flexibility. I've been a witness to the evolution, and I'm glad we don't get "day after" dates that get moved...which tends to cause more hassle in my life.

My dentist expects me to make another cleaning appointment 6 months in advance ("Ok Karnak, how about 11:15 on May 6th?"). For a while I'd respond with, "Can we make it 1:30? I have a thing in the morning on that day."...but now I just say "Sure!", and know that we'll both have to adapt when I get my May schedule. If I could make they appointment with them on April 14th it'd be more accurate, and less of a hassle in the long run.

No, I think there was an email from ALPA saying they were working on it. Top men were working on it. Delta IT was on the job! ;)
