On a 1-day trip today with a 3-day starting tomorrow. My 1-day got rerouted into tomorrow. What happens to my 3-day? Is it bought or do they send me home for rest and rejoin?
Line holder.

i had this exact scenario happen to me recently- was extended into the first day of my 4 day trip. I went home and came back to finish the 3 remaining days of the trip. They will most likely figure out how to get you back on your trip. FWIW

Yep that’s what they just did. Joined my original rotation after a rest period. Thanks

If I’ve read it correctly, they are required to get you back to your base in the quickest manner and then restart your next trip after required rest? I’ve heard them trying to deadhead from an outstation from one trip and after rest to another out station to pickup the remainder of the trip. I don’t believe this is legal.

I have never noted them to do that and regardless it would not be legal because it would now be all one trip. In addition depending on the total length of such a trip the 1 for 3.5 could start adding up and the reroute pay would be massive as that would certainly constitute a reroute on the first trip.

Are there pay implications for the one day being extended into day two?

Absolutely. If a line holder on a regular trip you get pay and credit for the trip flown then single pay no credit reroute pay for the part of the trip that was extended.

WAGE WORKS.... Anybody know about or use Wage Works to pay after tax dollars to pay foe employee parking? I have used it in previous years and this year they are not deducting pre tax $$$ from my paycheck. I can,t find any info on a global search on Deltanet....but something has changed. Wage Works has merged....in previous years the selection just carried over from one year to the next.

Go to Perks on Deltanet then click on Voluntary Discounts and then Commuter Discounts. It's there. It's called Health Equity now.
