Ref. 23.I.18. it works for all types of drops, QPD,APD,IVD and PD. Do NOT waste vacation bank time on a PB. A PB creates it's own pay and credit at the value of the day(s) replaced. With VACB you are paying yourself from your vacation bank. You get pay AND credit, so you remain with your credit for the GS trigger. Except for the IVD, you retain your days of vacation but then are short in the bank for that month. I use personal bank to cover the short fall when it comes around. This allows you to take paid vacation almost any time. You have to disassociate vacation bank time (pay and credit) with vacation weeks (days) awarded. Some people never understand this but those that do are liberated.
An extreme example is one June a few years back I had a single 9 day international trip worth 55ish hours and a carry in trip worth 21ish hours. I APD-ed a single day during the 9 day and IVD-ed the carry in during the previous month. I ended up with 5 weeks off starting in May and no flying in June. BUT, I used VACB to cover 77ish hours and eventually got a 5 day GS at the end of June. June was a 130ish hour month and I only worked 5 days. The cavoite is that when it came to my subsequent vacation weeks they were unpaid. My requisite January and February months I just WS-ed to get paid. The other vacation week in November I bid reserve and used the full service bank to pay myself.

Thanks sailing. If I hadn't already used my APD this year (thought I was using it from my previous anniversary year, didn't realize it resets in your hire month instead of after your DOH, should have read the PWA) I'd take advantage of that.
Thanks for that. I took me a few reads to get it, but I finally understand that process.
Holy crap that is an amazing way to get a summer vacation if you have the knowledge, foresight, and flexibility to pull that off.

What does "4F1R" mean on a timecard?
Reroute Pay shows 0.
It was a greenslip.

23 L.8/L.9 “got me back late” reroute pay will be in the “Reroute Pay” line you’re talking about.
FYI: Scheduling codes are listed in the ace app under pay code lookup.
