FYI: Scheduling codes are listed in the ace app under pay code lookup.

All these bold letters makes me think you meant: ELSE START NEXT

4F1R.

The ACE app is misleading since no trip was removed for company convenience. NuGuy is correct since it stems from an intra-rotation reroute that didn't result in reroute pay but did result in around 4 hours of extra straight pay.

This whole thing is clear as mud.

23 L.4 Note reroutes are fiendishly complicated. They don’t work how most people think they work. It’s a result of a couple of mis-fires in contract language and settlements with the Company. As a practical matter, it’s impossible for a line pilot to check.

My guess is you got a re-route inside your rotation, and you got pay/credit for what you flew, plus pay/no credit for a couple of legs until you got back on to your original rotation.

Reroutes are rarely coded right. 4F1X codes are generic company messing with your schedule and it guarantees original rotation value. The pay could be more. I hate that we have to fight with entry level people who don’t know the rules and are pressured to minimize cost.

This is correct. 4F1R is the pay code Scheduling typically uses to add reroute pay to the upper half of your time card after a 23.L.4.note reroute. 23.L.8 reroutes usually populate in the "reroute" pay column.

Edit: whoops, looks like Nuguy already said this last page.

GogglesPisano, feel free to PM me and i can take a look at your trip if you'd like.

GogglesPisano 09-28-2021 05:06 PM

Thanks all. As I read the PWA, there is no limit to the amount of reroute iterations as long as they comply with the “time limitation.”

On a 1-day trip today with a 3-day starting tomorrow. My 1-day got rerouted into tomorrow. What happens to my 3-day? Is it bought or do they send me home for rest and rejoin?
