On the bright side, after going through the valley of death, we got Saban.

I remember that while I took enjoyment in Alabama's plight and shock when Franphony left I also hated that guy. I cheered against Texas A&M for years and I hated that, I like A&M. Cow colleges have to stick together.

FWIW, Muschamps (former Auburn coordinator and UGA grad) name is being thrown about to go from UT to UT. I've always thought if Richt was fired, probably at the end of this year, that Muschamp would go for that job. If he doesn't go to TEN my bet is he's hedging a bet that UGA will be available after this coming year and it will be available if UGA fans get a sniff that Muschamp is lurking.

You guys all do understand that the only true college football is played at the Division 3 level. Teams at the level you are talking about are not students. They are professional hired teams. It really would be much better to simply call it the NFL minor leagues and let the teams play in the college stadiums. Thats all it is now anyway!

The Guard/Reserve guys who never did AD usually figure out around the 10-12 year point how small the retirement check will be, that they won't see it until 60, and that if they get activated for a couple years will never make up the loss of income. That's when they punch. And that's also about the point you don't fly much, just get fitted for a large steel desk.

Side note in the "insult to injury" zone: Most Guard/Res guys are clueless that their "inactive duty" points are capped each year. Pay only, no point towards retirement. I retired with over 3 years worth of points that didn't count.:mad:

But over the years the annual limit has been raised from 75 to 90 and now is 130 points a year. Not too many guys get more than 130 inactive points a year so this issue has been mostly corrected. :)

Hey Boog,
I'm right in front of you...DEC'95. We had ONE guy in our class that actually realized the "you'll all be Captains in 5 years" promise. He held it for a total of 4 months. I finally made the check-out in January of '07. Just over 11 years. I feel your pain.

The current 1L and 2L doors on a 757 are 6.0' x 2'9"... so I would have to guess it is something larger than what could fit in a door that is 6' x 2'9". What could that be?

A size 40 dress means you are 44 bust, 37 waist, 46 hip and have a back-waist length of 17 3/8s. I have no idea how to convert that. So I'm just going to opine that such a door would be needed for things wider than people.
