Nope. That is where you send it. I would call em tomorrow AM and see what happened. Did it get paid on your end the month check in March?

Nope. I'll call them tomorrow. I'm at "the Happiest Place on Earth" with my wife and kids right now. Headed home tomorrow. Thanks buddy.

No problemo. Enjoy and get off of here. Glad they went with you. Seem to be doing that a lot lately....

The reimbursement amount is fixed, so you don't need to fax in the invoice unless you have FAA (not AME) mandated additional testing. It shows up as a negative deduction in the far right column of the check, not in the left column showing payments.

The guy was pretty cool actually, just had a lot to cover in a pretty short trip. I certainly wouldn't mind flying with him again.

$49,000 (in 2010) per year, every year? Let's do some basic math. Assume that increases with the rate of inflation (at 3%) and you work a 30 year career and earn 8% on your money. That grows to $7.5m which then throws off an annual $543k for 30 years past retirement (invested at 6% in retirement). Discounting that to today's $$ yields $224k. So, you're saying you want more in retirement than a 777A Captain makes working today?

I've got no problem with that, if money grew on trees, and Santa Claus could deliver. In the real world, where trade-offs are made, I'll take a bit more DC but I want higher payrates first.

------------

I personally contribute 28% to my retirement each year - in order to hit the 415C (happens around sept) Then the contribution is automatically stopped and restarts automatically in January.

In my book, that IS a 28% pay raise.

And yes, I DO want to make more in retirement than a 777A makes today. Don't you?

Those trips could possibly be coming here.........

Yikes, sorry, should have looked. Didn't occur to me that you wouldn't be done yet:confused:

Yeah, pays to be senior I guess.........I've been to AMS several times, but never Paris, should be fun. I've heard they are going to put some LCAs on the flights to make sure everything goes smoothly with us rookies. But, in the words of Mr T.........."I piddy da fool":D

I don't know what I want to do with the AE. Indecision is the key to flexibility:eek:. LAX is so close, but so many commuters between us guys, United guys and all the RJ kids. I was the #8 jumpseater on the early SWA flight last time I went over on my way to NRT. All off line with no way to check loads etc.......very outside my "rut". SEA would be much farther away, but fewer commuters I think. Plus, NWA had higher than normal nonrev priority on Alaska (a concession they gave us when we quit flying SEA to ANC and all our freight guys needed them for commuting).

Does anyone know if we still have priority nonrev on Alaska?

On another subject............

Anyone know how many jets and crews we have "stuck" in Europe right now. Wish I was stuck in AMS heheheheheheheheh <-----dirty old man laugh

What you're actually hitting is the 402(g) individual contribution limit of $16,500. That's the total aggregate amount you can contribute to all employer qualified plans in which you participate. For you to hit the 415(c) limit your employer would have to contribute more than $32,500 and you would have to contribute $16,500 to a single plan.

I'd like to see more DC as well, but I'd rather see more pay first. 14% is well above average for any plan, much less airlines.

The capt I just flew with is a legacy....his father retired in '81 or '84, the capt. got hired in '88. His retired father has made and will continue to make more than him throughout his current DAL career even after the bankruptcy and PBGC crappola!!
Ahhh the good ole days!
