Very good New.

We have only one connection left to the past, the DC-9, and thus we are all hanging on a thread depending on the pilots of the DC-9 to take the lead against the never ending battle for truth, justice, and the previous airline pilot way of life. So just remember New as you look at the man in the mirror, ask him to change our ways because no message could have been any clearer that if we wanna make this world a better place you, New, gotta get it right, while you got the time and the 9.

The gratitude of every home of an airline pilot, in our country, and indeed throughout the world, except in the abodes of the guilty, goes out to the men and women of the DC-9 who, undaunted by odds, unwearied in their constant challenge and track errors, are turning the tide of the world war on airline pilots by their prowess and their devotion. Never in the airline field was so much owed by so many to so few. All our hearts go out to the DC-9 pilots, whose brilliant actions we see with our own eyes day after day as they fight for a return of the days where airline pilots were overpayed, oversexed and underworked.

Thank you, and God Bless New and the DC-9!

I heard the star spangled banner start playing in my head while I was reading that.

And I salute you and your hotness, Pam Beasly.

Ahhhhhh............the life of an airline pilot...........Paris, Tokyo, Saipan, and Guam all in the same month!! (I took a peek!:)) I just want to know what I'm going to do. My bids have not come out yet. But I am still hoping beyond hope that I can get one of those trips in the bid package! Are you gonna bid SEA on the next AE or wait and see what the trips are like? Those trips could possibly be coming here.........

"And now for something completely different...."

I had my FAA physical in mid-March and was expecting the reimbursement in my mid-April check. Its not there. How long does/should it take to show up?

I think I remember having problems last year as well.

acl65pilot 04-15-2010 04:25 PM

It should be there. You do not see a debit in the deductions column. If not first thing to do is make sure that they actually recorded the medical. If so, then you should call the CPSC and they will take care of the coding issue.

Sounds like you got a bad draw in the LCA poker game of life. Most guys don't/won't do that, especially if they know you are changing equipment and, in your case, company cultures. I've had a few guys like that but that is not the norm at the old/new Delta.

DBMS shows my medical updated. The reimbursement doesn't show anywhere in the pay statement however. When I faxed in the ticket I also faxed in the doctor's invoice. Should I send it somewhere else?

acl65pilot 04-15-2010 04:33 PM

Nope. That is where you send it. I would call em tomorrow AM and see what happened. Did it get paid on your end the month check in March?
